Mom & Dad brought so many great outfits for this little guy, and he looked so adorable in each one. He may look familiar because we did his newborn photos a while back. I love seeing how much they have changed from their sleepy/skinny newborn stage to their giggly/chubby baby stage. Although this guy was neither sleepy nor skinny at his newborn shoot. Newborn shoots tend to be more artistic, and this age (6months +) the shoots are more fun & lively.

So jealous of those lashes! Sometimes hats don’t stay on for very long. I love baby costumes, and I’ve got to agree with his shirt!

What a happy little guy…even after so many wardrobe changes he was still smiling like a champ!

Anticipation

Being pregnant is quite amazing. I can still remember my little Emily hiccuping and kicking me in the ribs. Now she just kicks me from the outside It really is a special time of being close to your baby, waiting, and preparing. This mama-to-be was so calm & serene, pregnancy really agrees with her. She really had the “wow, you are glowing” look. Can’t wait to meet your little one!

Braving the cool fall weather, sitting in puddles, lying down on train tracks, getting stuck in mini-shopping carts…this easy-going couple was up for anything we suggested. We love it when our clients are up for anything and trust our vision.

This is one of my favorites. Look how gorgeous they both are…can’t wait for their wedding next summer!

Look how adorable this little guy is…

His mommy wanted a photo of him in this sweater…the sweater that they were going to bring him home from the hospital in. Finally fits!He has the most amazing eyes…this is totally natural, no photoshop involved in these baby blues!

Thanks for such a fun shoot today guys! 2-year old are notoriously hard to photograph, but I highly recommend doing a shoot outdoors/on location vs. in a studio for these little ones. Not only did we get some good pics, we got a few genuine smiles from the little guy as well!

This next pic is one of my favorites…as you can tell, his parents are fashionistas.

Baby girl / Edmonton newborn photographer

Our first newborn girl (not including our own) that we’ve done photos for. For some reason, ALL of the newborn photos we have done up to this point have been for boys. This little one was such a sweetheart, wide-eyed, calmly looking around and only 10 days old. We tried to get her to fall asleep, but she was too smart for that, she wanted to see what was going on! Preparing for life with an older brother Oh well, at least we got some good pics of her beautiful baby blue eyes!

Edmonton wedding photographer

Here are some photos from Janet & Ian’s wedding at Chateau Lake Louise on July 4th. It was one of the most beautiful and romantic ceremonies I have ever been to (and I’m not just saying that because she’s my sister!) Fresh orchids lined the aisle that was lit by candles floating in water. The bridesmaids glided down in gowns handmade by the bride’s mom. The live music did not help anybody who was trying not to cry (me). I could go on and on describing the wedding, but I know…you want to see the pictures. I had a hard time narrowing them down, so here are over 60 photos for you to enjoy!
